The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety recently issued a news release stating that motorcycles with anti-lock brakes are 37% less likely to be involved in a fatal collision that a motorcycle not equipped with anti-lock brakes.

Sadly, over 5,000 dies in motorcycle accidents in 2008. Motorcycle usage has dramatically increased in recent years, so that the total usage of motorcycles has nearly doubled and the number of injuries has likewise increased.
